During the investigation, Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) detectives identified Aarion Hopkins (M/18) of Chesapeake as an additional suspect.
On Nov. 21, 2024, VBPD officers arrested and charged Hopkins with First Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Attempted Robbery, and Conspiracy.
Additionally, Javon Pollard now faces upgraded charges of First Degree Murder and Conspiracy.
