Virginia Beach police are investigating a fatal crash that happened last month on Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Officers responded to the 4100 block of the boulevard around 2:20 a.m. on Feb. 17 after a vehicle crashed. The driver, 36-year-old Chesney Guyette of Virginia Beach, was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Investigators say speed played a role in the crash. After weeks of treatment, Guyette died from her injuries on March 4.
