Detectives in Norfolk have arrested a man they say is connected to a sexual assault that happened earlier this month at a local hotel.
Police were called to the DoubleTree at 1500 N. Military Highway around 3:30 a.m. on July 18 for a report of sexual assault.
After investigating, police charged Phillip J. Graham, 27, of North Carolina, with two counts of forcible sodomy, robbery, abduction, brandishing a weapon, simple assault, and six counts of using a firearm.
Graham was arrested by Norfolk Police on July 22 and is being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Investigators also revealed that Graham is facing similar charges in Virginia Beach. Police believe there could be more victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Norfolk Police Department’s Special Crimes Office at 757-664-7033.
