Norfolk Man Sentenced to 14 Years for Major Meth and Cocaine Trafficking

A Norfolk man with a history of drug trafficking was sentenced to 14 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine, intent to distribute cocaine, and firearm possession connected to drug crimes.

According to court records, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Norfolk Police Department (NPD) worked with a confidential informant (CI) between May and October 2022 to conduct several controlled drug buys from Lashawn D. Pullie, also known as “Bam,” 50, and an accomplice. During these operations, the CI purchased significant amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine.

One of the key exchanges took place on September 20, 2022. The CI contacted Pullie to buy cocaine and methamphetamine. Initially, Pullie only had cocaine, which he exchanged with the CI in Norfolk. They arranged to meet again at a different location to complete the methamphetamine transaction. In total, during the investigation, Pullie sold over 300 grams of meth and 400 grams of cocaine to the CI.

On October 13, authorities executed search warrants on Pullie’s residence, vehicle, and storage unit. They found 393 grams of methamphetamine, over 1,400 grams of cocaine, hundreds of oxycodone pills, $7,674 in cash, and two loaded firearms.
