Virginia Beach police are urging possible victims to come forward after a North Carolina man was arrested in connection with two violent incidents earlier this month.
The first incident happened around 2 a.m. on July 20 in the 1200 block of Christian Court. Police say the suspect robbed a victim at gunpoint before fleeing.
Just over 24 hours later, around 1:30 a.m. on July 21, officers responded to the 4600 block of Commerce Street for a sexual assault and robbery. Detectives say the victim was sexually assaulted at gunpoint.
Investigators identified Phillip Graham, 27, of North Carolina, as the suspect in both cases. Graham faces multiple charges, including three counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of abduction, and forcible sodomy.
He was arrested by Norfolk police on July 22, where he also faces charges for a separate incident.
Virginia Beach detectives believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is urged to call the VBPD Violent Crimes Unit at 757-385-4101.
