The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in connection to a shooting that occurred on December 27, 2024.
At approximately 3:39 p.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a walk-in gunshot victim at the Sentara Careplex. Officers responded and made contact with the victim, an adult female, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim alleged she was walking in the area of Shell Road and Bell Street when she was struck by gunfire. After speaking with detectives she changed the location to the 2800 block of Rosalee Drive. The victim was unable to provide officers with the suspect(s) description.
This incident remains under investigation by members of the Hampton Police Major Crimes Unit.
