The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in connection with a maiming that occurred on December 12, 2023.
At approximately 1:27 p.m., Hampton Communications received a call for a shooting that occurred at McDonald’s located in the 200 block of Fox Hill Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed the first victim met with the suspect at McDonald’s to purchase a gaming console. There was a physical altercation between the individuals inside the business. During the altercation, the suspect displayed and discharged a firearm. The second victim, an adult female, who is an employee who was not involved in the altercation suffered a graze gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue with non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation and there is no suspect information to be disseminated at this time.
