The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 25, 2025.
at approximately 3:48 p.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a shooting that occurred in the 1st block of Derry Road. Officers responded and located the crime scene, however the victims were not there. The victims stopped at the intersection of East Mercury Boulevard and Monroe Drive after attempting to drive themselves to the hospital. Officers responded and made contact with victims, an adult male and a female juvenile, both suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victims were transported to a local hospital by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.
This investigation is in the early stages and detectives from the Hampton Police Major Crimes Unit are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
