The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in connection with a maiming that occurred on May 13, 2025.
At approximately 9:33 p.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to two walk-in gunshot victims at Sentara Careplex. While officers were enroute, the staff at Sentara deemed one of the two victims to have life-threatening injuries and requested immediate transport to another hospital. Officers arrived and located the other victim; whose injuries were deemed as non-life-threatening.
The definitive location of the shooting remains unknown at this time; however, the victim’s stories are inconsistent, but they are both stating that the shooting occurred while they were inside their vehicle at an unknown location in Hampton when shots were fired into the vehicle.
Detectives located forensic evidence in the 1500 block of Hardy Cash Drive and continue to investigate the motives and circumstances of this incident.
