Hampton police are asking for the community’s help to identify the suspects involved in a late-night shooting on April 28.
At about 11:17 p.m., authorities were alerted to gunfire in the 1st block of Tabatha Circle. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound inside a home. He was taken to a hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.
Investigators learned that the victim was sleeping when the shooter, believed to be in a vehicle, fired several shots at the home. The man was hit, and a parked car was also struck, though no one else was injured.
The motive for the shooting is still unclear, and detectives from the Hampton Police Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate.
