NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police have arrested 64-year-old Patrick M. McKown following a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo branch on E Little Creek Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred on September 17th around 1:10 p.m., when officers responded to the bank at 2316 E Little Creek Road after receiving reports of a commercial robbery. Upon arrival, police confirmed that the bank had been robbed.
After an investigation, detectives charged McKown with robbery, use of a firearm, and two counts of petit larceny. He was taken into custody around 9:20 p.m. the same evening in the 1200 block of Little Bay Avenue.
McKown is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
